Where do I begin and how to begin as I attempt share pieces of my everyday life and the things I enjoy doing?  My loving grandmother played a large part of my growing up years and then in to a young adult before we lost her at age 84.  She helped form my love of antiques, sewing, cooking and
finding an appreciation for finding beauty in our simple everyday life.

I would watch her as she sat at her sewing machine mending or sewing garments for others, as well as for my siblings and me.  She loved fabrics and always had a stash to stitch up something pretty.  The kitchen was always a happy place to be as she baked bread or made our favorite cookies.

One of my favorite photos as a young lady.

She was a wonderful lady and I treasure the memories and keepsakes she held dear to her.
